I discovered that I was doing 5 times the marketing of some of my rivals using customized HTML sites, but they were always beating me out in the SERPs. This proved to me that Google cares really much about how a website is coded, hosted, and presented. I realized that if my site was more Google friendly, I would probably rank much higher with all of the SEO and content market work that I am doing.
As quickly as my REW website was introduced, I began getting significantly more traffic from all of the content marketing that I had actually been doing. The Most Complete Run-Down desired realty keyword in my city is "House for Sale in Colorado Springs". My Word, Press site never ever appeared on the first 10 pages.
I began showing up for much of my other city-specific keywords too. Don't expect to purchase a REW site and simply start to get leads. There are a lot of REW sites in my area that never ever turned up in the SERPs. If you do heavy content marketing and SEO work, REW sites carry out terrific.
It's been good having another person invest time on my website. It's extremely hard to discover time to work on my website when I'm out showing homes and writing agreements. I have invested numerous late nights working on my Word, Press site and was constantly tweaking it. I do not have access to my CSS and HTML files on my REW site, which is great and bad.
I no longer have to handle 3rd party plugins on my site. I believe that Google views Word, Press genuine estate sites like a Frankenstein monster. Google sees data coming from the host where the Word, Press site is hosted, data originating from the IDX server, and information from all the extra plugins.
REW collects the information from the MLS (rather quickly) and hosts all of the information from one server. When Google sees the information, it appears to enjoy the way it is hosted. This is why REW sites (and other entirely custom realty websites) carry out so well in the SERPs.
